Interfaith Walk for Peace

All are encouraged to participate in an Interfaith Walk for Peace on Friday, August 1st, 2014 near City Park in downtown Kingston, starting at 10 a.m. The meeting spot is beside Murney Tower at the corner of King Street East and Barrie Street. Look for the lion sculpture there as a landmark for people to gather around.
The gathering will start with a native ceremony for peace and harmony, followed by prayers for world peace recited by various faith representatives, who will pass a Peace Torch being carried around the globe by an international running team.

99 YORK UPDATE

Our Saturday gatherings have been changed to Friday evenings!

Every Friday evening at 7 p.m. there are informal chats- an opportunity to share ideas about the world, the human family, or any topic of interest to attendees.

These gatherings are held regularly, so if you are looking for a community activity to support, or have a friend who would like to be introduced to the Faith or learn more about the Baha'i perspective on a subject - this is your opportunity!
